People protest against TSO CA&PD Katra 7/27/2016 10:47:05 PM Early Times Report Udhampur July 27: Alleging irregular and having adopting callous attitude towards his duties by the Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) Katra, the people living under his jurisdiction said they are suffering for their no fault due the lackadaisical approach towards his official works. The locals accused TSO Katra of District Reasi that hundreds of families are suffering due to the non punctual and poor performance of concerned TSO Prem Nath deputed in Katra. Local including Pawan Kumar, Sham Lal, Rajat and others from of Katra told Early Times that whenever they visit the TSO Office Katra for redressal of the their problems but the said officer is never found in office during scheduled office time i.e. 9am to 3pm but the concerning officer don't come regular upto 12am and at time he is never found in office. Local lamented that they are not getting kerosene oil as per quota which is being reportedly sold in black market but the concerned official is least bothered. "There are atleast 40 kerosene Oil depots under the jurisdiction of TSO but they have never received proper supply of kerosene oil," they alleged, adding, "apart from this they even failed to get full quota of ration supply as per government scales for a family on many occasions.' According to the official sources 17 ration depots including private and government besides 40 kerosene oil depots of tehsil katra are never found opened regularly as per set time schedule causing inconvenience to the common masses. Locals have urged to SDM Katra Neelam Khajuria to take up the matter with higher ups in concerned department so as to bring some respite to poor people. When contacted SDM Katra Ms Khajuria briefly said that said if any complaints is found genuine about irregularity and mal practice by the concerned she will take strict action against guilty.
