BSF on alert to prevent Infiltration through water bodies near IB | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 27: BSF has alerted its trrops manning forward locations falling closer to water bodies to maintain high vigil along the International border to prevent fresh infiltration bids from across the border in view of incessant rains flooding the local water rivulets passing thing through Indo-Pak border. According to reports, the flash floods in Basantar and Ujh rivers often leave several low lying BoPs in pool of water and some time affect border fencing. Official sources said, "Though no damage was cost to the border fence in the Jammu frontier during the day long spell of rains on Wednesday the BSF has been maintaining close vigil to prevent fresh infiltration through water bodies." According to official sources water boats have been deployed by the BSF in the forward location to ensure round the clock patrolling and it also have increased the frequency of patrolling following recent intelligence inputs of presence of small groups of infiltrators close to the International border. |
