These employees under the banner of All Migrant Employees Association, valley are on protest for the last 13th consecutive days to press the State & Central governments to accept their demand without any further delay. Shamboo Nath Saproo, president JK Milchar Front also urged the government that their package should not be linked with the return and rehabilitation of KPs in valley and instead be declared as economic package for KPs. He further said that during the last six years since the PM package employees have joined their jobs in the valley, never has the anger against them been so vehemently expressed than it was this time when a direct attack with stones etc was launched in the dead of night on their camp by miscreants at the behest of anti-national forces which created panic not only within the camps but also among the community at other places throughout the country,. He said most of the package employees have left the valley and have come down to Jammu and are reluctant to go back unless they have solid assurances for their security. Milchar Front has also appealed Mehbooba Mufti government to not only provide fool proof security to the package employees but also make efforts to create a congenial environment that of trust & confidence by engaging with the civil society as well so that a sense of security returns at the earliest is possible and till, they should be adjusted in Jammu as demanded by the protesting migrant's employees. |
