| Rotary Club organizing eye donation awareness | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 28: Rotary Club Jammu is organizing eye donation awareness week from 25th of this month which will end on 31st of this month under the aegis of Rotary international district 3070 lead by Rtn Dr. Sarabjit Singh.
In this members of the Club are meeting the people door to door to aware them of eye donation. The people are being motivated for the eye donation . According to Rtn Ravinder Kaul President of the Club and Rtn Sunil Kumar Sawhney secretary of the Club and the people are being awakened to pledge to donate their eyes after death as their eyes can give light to two blind persons.
They are being told that they can still see the beautiful world even after death with their donated eyes. The people are filling the pledge form for the donation of their eyes after death with their consent.
According to Rtn Sunil K Sawhney who is also the Zonal Chair of Rotary Eye donation , we have two eye banks in our Rotary District 3070 one at Hoshiarpur and one at Amritsar.
Anybody who wants to pledge to donate their eyes after death can contact at phone numbers 9419191444 and 9920718060 , the volunteer will come at their door steps to get filled the form of pledge. The club is also going to organise the seminars, nukad demonstrations etc regarding the awareness to pledge eye donation in ensuing week . |
