Alleged land grabbing by SSP, FIR against DLR | DLR demands fast tracking of investigation | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, July 28: In the case of alleged grabbing of Shamlat land by former SSP VOJ in village Gura Brahmna, on the complaint of Mohan Singh & Attar Singh, the Director Land Records has written to SHO asking for a copy of complaint filed by the SSP wherein his signatures have been claimed to be identical to those of Mohan Singh which has led to the registration of FIR No. 229/16 in Police Station Domana by SSP. In a letter to SHO, the RDSLR has requested the SHO to forward copy of such complaint bearing his signatures to him and the investigation officer to collect his sample signatures at an earliest so that truth comes out. The record in enquiry has revealed that the Farad Intikhab issued for 1 Kanal 14 Marlas duly purchased by wife of SSP as per the exercise undertaken by the field staff is outside the entitlement of Shamilat land of vendor. When contacted, RD SLR said that when it is a matter of asset disclosure whether land or a real estate, the Government employee should not feel hesitant and provide papers. However, the SSP has not provided papers of 6 marlas of land under his possession to SDM despite her repeated requests. He admittedly said that culture of anonymous complaints is there but personalizing it to the enquiry officer itself is not ethical and mature and he has no objection if enquiry is entrusted to some other officer and the FIR also investigated on war footing to bring out the truth. |
