2 people washed in Basantar River 8/16/2016 11:39:00 PM Early Times Report Samba, Aug 16: Two persons who were crossing a basantar river on foot and washed away. The incident occurred place near chichi mata temple on Monday at around 10:30am. According to the sources they were working in Rai polymer industries in Phase 1 Industrial growth centre SIDCO Samba.They were going to Chichi mata temple with his friends while crossing the Basantar River on by foot when the incident took place. The deceased have been identified as Pritam Singh Son of Kanth Singh 35 years and Vijay Singh Son of Shamsher Singh 17 years both the resident of Dadriaran Tehsil Chawani Himachal Pardesh Police Sources said. After receiving the information Police and along with SDRF team reached on the spot and started rescue operation but late evening the bodies of the deceased were not yet recovered. Today police along with SDRF team again launched Rescue operation one body is recovered from basantar river he was identified as Pritam Singh Son of Kanth Singh 35 years resident of Dadriaran Tehsil Chawani Himachal Pardesh.
