Dy CM asks IRCON to expedite R-APDRP works 8/16/2016 11:39:55 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 16: Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh has directed the executing agencies to work in double shifts to expedite the R-APDRP works in Jammu province. The Deputy Chief Minister was addressing officers during a review meeting convened to discuss the status of implementation of Restructured Accelerated Power Development Reforms Programme (R-APDRP) project in Jammu province here today. The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretary Power Development Department, Dheeraj Gupta, Development Commissioner Power Gul Ayaz, Chief Engineer Jammu, Ashwani Gupta, Chief Engineer PDD Kashmir Bashir Khan, representatives of IRCON and concerned officers. Threadbare discussions were held on various vital issues for timely implementation of various R-APDRP projects. Dr. Nirmal Singh directed the IRCON authorities to expedite implementation of RAPRDP which has a huge potential of upgrading the power infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the IRCON officials to work in double shift to complete the prestigious project to meet the set deadline of March 2017. Later, Dr. Nirmal Singh also discussed the progress of R-APDRP works being executed by M/S EMC LTD in Kathua, Samba and RS Pura which falls in cluster III.
