GDC Thannamandi organizes quiz competition 8/24/2016 10:25:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 24: As an endeavor to raise environmental awareness among youth, the Department of Environmental Science organized an Intra college Quiz Competition on the topic Ecosystems and its Stability. The event was the first of the series of such programmes under environmental awareness campaign scheduled for the ongoing academic session in the college. The programme started with the recitation of the verses of the holy Quran by Abrar Ahmed of B A semester 1st .It was followed by a Quiz Competition in which File Team viz the Stars, The Vioers, Pakeeza, The Roses and The Lotuses participated. The team Lotuses emerged as winner after a spectacular display of neck to neck Competition among the contestant teams. Principal of the college Dr Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function. He appreciated and congratulated the endevous of Department of Environmental Sciences for organizing such an impressive event.
