GDC Budhal waits own campus for 8 years | Students threaten to launch agitation | | Early Times Report
Budhal, Aug 24: Students of Govt Degree College Budhal threatened to launch agitation, as after lapse of eight years the college waits for its own campus. Addressing a press conference here today the president of student union, Zahid Mir they will initiate agitation if the building of college not completed soon. He said that College was established in 2008 but still there is no building. Students are studying in 4 rooms of higher secondary school. The strength of students has exceeded this year due to semester system. But Govt has hardly care. Mir further said that local MLA and cabinet Minister Choudhary Zulafkaar Ali promised with us in last year that Buildings work will be completed soon and next session will start at new Building. Zahid asked the session has been started where is the Building. College has given more than five crore rupees to department but the work of Building on ground level is less than 10 percent. Zahid Mir threatened if the Building work is not completed as soon as possible students will come on roads in a violent behaviour. Nadeem Bhat, Sajid Malik, Zabi Shah, Ajaz Ahmed, Ashiq Hussain were also present in press conference. |
