Five arrested with heroin in Jammu, Kathua 8/25/2016 10:53:08 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 25: Five drug peddlers were arrested alongwith a contraband of heroin in separate incidents in Jammu and Kathua districts. "Acting on tip off, police last evening intercepted a pedestrian near Pacca Danga area of Jammu," police here today said. They said that during frisking, 10 grams of heroin worth crores was recovered from the posession of Mohammad Taj of Tehsil Mendhar,Poonch district. Meanwhile,four drug peddlers were nabbed in Kathua district yesterday. Arrested drug peddlers were identified as Jiwan Kumar alias Jiwa, Rohit Sharma, Vikas Potra and Rahul Sharma, all residents of Kathua. "Total 14.6 grams of heroin was recovered from the posessions of all the accused persons," police said adding that cases under NDPS Act has been registered and investigation starts.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
