Bootlegger held with 23 'frooties' 8/25/2016 10:53:15 PM Early Times Report Jammu Aug 25: Continuing its drive against bootleggers and drug peddlers, the Police today arrested a bootlegger alongwith 23 Desi made liquor Frooties (180ml each) which were recovered from his possession during a naka checking in area under jurisdiction of Police Station Nowabad. The accused has been identified as Vishal Kaith s/o Joginder Kumar r/o Krishna Nagar, Jammu, police said. Police spokesperson said, "Based on specific input, Police Party of P/S Nowabad, laid a naka at Jewal Chowk today at about 11.00 AM and stopped one Auto bearing registration No JK02AP-1982 driven by accused Vishal Kaith.' "During search of vehicle police party recovered 23 Desi made liquor Frooties of 180ml each, police spokesperson said, adding, "the driver of vehicles was arrested on the spot while vehicle alongwith liquor was also seized."
