Infiltration bid foiled Rajouri, soldier martyred 8/30/2016 10:44:30 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Aug 30: Amid Kashmir limping back to normalcy, a fresh infiltration attempt was made in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir but the alert security forces foiled the same and in the process a soldier was martyred on Tuesday. The injured soldier was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries The injured soldier was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries Defence sources said that Lance Naik Rajender Singh of 3 Rajputana Rifles was killed in the Sunderbani sector of the LoC in Rajouri. A group of terrorists made a bid from Pakistan side but the alert troops challenged the intruding terrorists. "In the ensuing exchange of heavy firing, Lance Naik Rajender Singh of 3 Rajputana Rifles sustained a gunshot injury, " said sources. The injured soldier was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
