Jammu Aug 30: Trade Union Organizations of Govt, and Semi-Govt. departments expressed its serious concern over the on-going Neo- liberal economic and anti-worker anti- people and pro corporate policies of central Govt, which has led to uncontrolled price rise, huge unemployment, loss of jobs, attack on social security system like pension, massive outsourcing and contractorisation of permanent nature of job and disinvestment in central and state public sector Units.
This was stated in a press conference today under the leadership of Babu Hussain Malik, President, EAC(R ] and Mohd Maqbool, President JKCCT(U) It was explained that unilateral implementation of 7th, pay commission report after ignoring the suggestions and agitations of Central and State Govt employees had caused widespread resentment among the Govt employees both at Central and State level. Moreover the state government employees should be given all the benefits as par with the Central Government employees in the 7th Pay Commission. The State Govt has also failed to redress the burning issues of pay anomaly of clerical staff despite the decision of the High Court. Employees Federation (AISGEF) to go for a nation/wide Strike on 2nd, September on 12 point charter of demands .
