| Floral tributes paid to Martyr Amin Chand | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur Aug 30: On the occasion of 51st Martyr Day of Martyr Amin Chand who sacrificed his life for the nation during Indo-Pak War 1965, a large number of locals, family members and army officials paid their tributes to the martyr. Martyr Amin Chand attained martyrdom for the protection of Integrity of Nation while serving with 8 JAK LI.
Colonel Rahul Mishra 18 Maratha LI was the chief guest of the occasion which was attended by a large gathering of people from all walks of life. The War Widow Smt Puro Devi and nephew of martyr Banarsi Dass were also present on in the occasion.
After laying wreaths, Col Rahul Mishra and his team also garlanded the statue of martyr while war widow and prominent persons as well as relatives of the Martyr also paid floral tributes to the Martyr. Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj performed religious rituals and offered special prayers to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the late soul.
In his tributes, Col Rahul Mishra highlighted the exemplary and courageous services rendered by Martyr Amin Chand. He told that we should be proud that Martyr Amin Chand was one of us who exhibiting courage and determination sacrifice his life for the nation. He also appreciated the courage of Smt Puro Devi Wd/o Martyr Amin Chand who faced ups and down in her life. He also added we should remember the sacrifice of Martyr for immemorial times and also main maintain brotherhood which is the true tribute to the Martyrs. |
