| Avdoot Baba's launches plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
samba, Aug 30: To preserve the ecology and environment in the area, Maha Mandleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Avdoot Arun Giri Ji Maharaj along with Maha Mandleshwar Devi Maa Shivangi Nand Giri Ji organized plantation drive here today in Samba during Shri Vaishno Devi- Kanyakumari Yatra aimed to save ecology and environment.
Local political leaders as well as social and religious dignitaries also participated in this plantation drive with zeal and enthusiasm.
Maha Mandleshwar distributed trees among the participants who planted the saplings amid slogans . like "Sansen Ho Rahi Hai Kum; Aao Ped Lagayen Hum" wordily meaning -it has become difficult to breathe due to pollution and global warming so let's come together and make plant trees.
Speaking on occasion Maha Mandleshwar urged general public of Jammu and Kashmir to participate in such programme to offer healthytomorrow to coming generations and making the same to success. He added that this method is easiest and cheapest to fight against pollution.
Pertinently a unique yatra of 4515 kms starting from Mata Vaishno Devi has been started which will culminate at Kanyakumari and is first in India being conducted to save environment of nation.
This yatra is based on one year duration which would enlighten people across the country and would teach them about the achievement of plantation and yagya for removal of global warming. |
