SMVDU organizes special lecture 8/30/2016 11:43:51 PM Katra, Aug 30: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) orgnaised special lecture over 'Global warming and possibility of a nuclear war are the major challenge' here today. According to press release, on this occasion, Major General (Retd.), Vinod Saighal delivered a lecture on "The Paris Climate Accord: Fragilities and the Global Equipoise" under the Eminent Lecture Series orgnaised by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. The talk was primarily a gist of his famous book The Third Millennium Equipoise. He covered the two most critical issues "existential threats for the coming generations" - 'Towards the Zero Nuclear State' and 'Global Warming & Climate Change'. There is an ongoing race for nuclear arms through nuclear proliferation among countries.
