| Man Succumbs to burn injuries | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, Aug 31: A Man succumbed to his burn injuries at Govt Medical college and Hospital, Jammu today whose family was attacked by some miscreants in Uchhad area of Mendhar tehsil in broder district Poonch some days ago, sources said.
Nazakat Hussain of Uchhad area of Mendhar and his family including his minor two chiders were attacked by some miscreants when the family was asleep. Sources said petrol was thrown on the family and set ablaze.
They were shifted to SDH Mendhar by locals later on Nazakat was shifted to GMCH Jammu as he had received 90 percent burns.
Police has defamed a local identified namely as Zakir and search is on for other accused, said a police spokerman, adding that an FIR vide No. 132 has been lodged under section 302 RPC at Police station mendhra, he added.
Labourer accidently falls to death

Jammu, Aug 31: A labourer was killed when he accidentally fell while working at construction site at Rajouri, last late night.
"The deceased has been identified as Farooq (25) of West Bengal presently staying at Rajouri, police sources said.
Sources said, "He was working at Rajouri when he accidentally fell from a height resulting critical injuries to him."
"He was immediately shifted to nearby hospital and after preliminary treatment there he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu, sources said, adding, "he failed to reach the hospital and died on way."
Police have registered a case and started investigation. |
