| Youth of social cast demand justice | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, Aug 31: Youth of Social Cast (SC) today held a massive protest demonstration in Poonch district headquarter against health department.
According to the report the protesters were raising slogans against the health department demanding justice to them. They said they had filed their application forms before the department for the post of Safaiwala (class IV), the list of the which is yet to be brought out by the authorities. They blamed that the department acquired forms from outsiders of district Poonch. They said that safai was their in herited job and they never felt ashamed to do the work. Report said the applicants have filed their application forms about two years back in 2014 for the 17 posts of "Safai wala ". They said they approached many times to deputy commissioner Poonch in this regard and many times also approached health minister too, but no result came out.
They alleged that the authorities issued the advertisements notice without following the laws and orders, in this regard they filed an application under Right To Information Act 2009 in December 2015, but authorities is yet to reply.
They allegedly said the department is throwing laws and rules to wind and no one is looking after it . |
