Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 10: Unfortunately the agenda of alliance on the basis of which BJP PDP formed govt in Jammu and Kashmir has yielded nothing to the people of Jammu region especially Pahari people.
No development work on ground since the formation of govt except hollow slogans. Public is deprived of even basic amenities Issues on which they contested assembly election have gone out of their dictionary which is a serious cause of worry due to the fact that Jammu based leadership is puppet in the hands of Kashmir based leadership. public was optimistic that now the scenario will change ,but nothing has changed however destiny of MLAs and Ministers has changed many fold by increasing their emolument by 100%.
Bani constituency being a hilly and difficult areas due to lack of road connectivity is the victims of negligence of successive state govt .Slackness of their performance can be gauged from the fact that the 15 roads of Bani constituency for which DPRS were submitted during the tenure of EX MLA Master lal chand are still hanging in fire. No one has taken pain to start the work.
Meeting with the people of Bani Lohai Malhar constituency at village Dougani, Ria Sal, Sadrota,Banjal Bhutal,Machedi ,Pahari vikas committee chief patron Advocate Rakesh Thakur criticized the govt for showing step mother treatment toward these pahari people.
Public of these villages expressed their gratification toward the ex MLA Bani Master Lal Chand for conducting road survey of these remote areas and submitting DPRS to the central govt. They all appealed to start the construction of road as early as possible under PMGSY for which funds have already been released by central govt.
In the certain education zones there is surplus teaching staff which usually remain attached to the schools of their choices contrary to this Lohai Malhar zone is having acute shortage of teaching staff especially High School Sadrota there are ony five teachers and no headmaster against the total students of 280.This is serious problem resulting in the loss to students .
