PDP-BJP coalition has failed on all fronts: Indu Pawar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 10: President Pardesh Mahila Congress Indu Pawar today presided over meeting of Mahila Congress in Raipur Satwari Distt. Jammu in which she lambasted PDP-BJP coalition government for having failed on all fronts and also alleged that common people are feeling betrayed by the leadership of both the coalition partners. Addressing meeting of the Mahila congress Ms Pawar regretted that except promises nothing has been done on the grounds. She said that only noticeable achievement of this regime is properly establishing betrayal in the state and legalizing corruption and nepotism. 'BJP have nothing to highlight as their achievements, she said and regretted that common people are struggling to get basic amenities but the BJP ministers appeared to be unconcerned. Coming down heavily on BJP for backstabbing people of Jammu region, Mahila Congress leader Ms Pawar reminded that during 2014 assembly elections BJP had promised to solve all problems of the people of Jammu region but after getting power the ministers of the saffron party have turned a blind eye towards miseries of masses." This coalition has been exposed before the masses, she said. She also lambasted the centre & state Govt for their failure in controlling price of pulses and vegetables. She claimed that Mahila (women) of state are now coming out of their houses and are supporting Congress which always has fought for rights of poor masse. Lashing out on centre for not coming out with a positive signal on Kashmir issues, Ms Pawar said it was lack of policies that All Party Delegation received poor response courtesy centre Govt. Ms Rani, Veena, Bansi and Neeta also spoke in this meeting. |
