| Vegetable seeds distribution camp organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 10: Vegetable seeds distribution for the promotion of kitchen gardening and parthenium eradication camp was organized in the circle Ranjan, zone Bhalwal. The camp was organized under the supervision of T K Atri SDAO Marh in which Department of Agriculture Zone Bhalwal distributed the vegetable seeds to the farmers of the circle Ranjan on the subsidized rates to promote the concept " Tandurasti hogi sabki jab sabzi Hogi Ghar ki" in this rain fed area so that the farmers can grow vegetables in their backyards by utilizing the used water of kitchen and promote the concept PER DROP MORE CROP. The seeds of Onion, Spinach, Raddish, Fenugreek and Peas were distributed among the farmers. Later on the field visit was also organized to check the overall growth of maize and pulses in the area. T K Atri SDAO Marh demonstrated the farmers of the are about the Parthenium eradication which is a great menance and responsible for many disease like Asthma, skin allergy. |
