| People suffer as mobile Internet services still snapped in Doda district | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Sept 10: Despite no untoward incident being reported in any part of the erstwhile Doda district of Jammu region, surprisingly the mobile internet services continue to remain snapped making locals baffled about the reason what forced the authorities at helms to snap the much needed service of modern era.
According to locals, all the students of Bhaderwah , Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban area are facing tough times in absence of the internet services.
"In absence of mobile internet we have been disconnected from rest of the world, said a student Baba Tak, adding, "these services should be restored forthwith.'. Ch Mohd Iqbal JKNPP state vice President also castigated government for banning mobile internet services without any reason.
Meanwhile a Govt officer of Bhadewrah Sub Division on anonymity said, "Official work has been suffering in absence of internet services.
Humming similar tones, a collegiate from Bhadewrah Shivani Bhagat said that there is complete normalcy in Doda and Bhadewrah but why the mobile internet services have been snapped nonone knows.
"What type of normalcy is government waiting for?" she asked.
Mohd Majid Malik a journalist termed ban on Internet as "unjustified" and without any reason and observed that this is hampering the works of reporters in the erstwhile Doda district as majority of media person are dependent on mobile internet services including 'dongles' and many don't have broadband internet facility.
He said a strong resentment is brewing among people in Bhaderwah ,Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban over the govern-ment's decision to snap the internet services |
