| 3 held for 'trying' to implicate girl in porn video | | | Kishtwar, Sept 10: Police have arrested three persons hailing from Dool area of the district over the allegations of implicating a teenage girl in a porno video and blackmailing her, besides threatening her and her family of a social boycott if she didn't follow their diktats.
Police sources said a teenage girl of Dool approached senior police officials complaining that some persons, who hailed from the same area, were blackmailing her by claiming that they had her porno video in their possession. She alleged that they had also threatened to circulate the video to people in case she did not follow their diktats. She told police that she was not at all involved in any such act and the accused were trying to drag her in the issue to spoil her and her family's reputation.
Acting on the complaint, a police party led by Dy. SP (headquarters), Kishtwar, Touseef Rishu swung into action and arrested three accused who were identified as Mohammad Aslam son of Wali Mohammad, Yasir Son of Bashir Ahmed and Raju son of Mohammad Hussain Naik, all residents of Dool. Their interrogation was in progress.
Meanwhile, the Kishtwar court on Saturday rejected their bail application. |
