Kidnapped girl recovered, accused held 9/11/2016 11:12:35 PM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: A 16-year-old girl, who was kidnapped by a youth from Damnote in Panchari block of the district a few days back, has been recovered. Identified as Praveen Kumar (22), son of Pyar Singh of Damnote, the accused was also arrested. The girl studies in 10th class in GHSS, Damnote. A written complainant against the accused was lodged with Pancheri police station by the girl's family members, alleging therein that she was abducted by him on September 7 last. Acting on the complaint, police started investigation into the incident and recovered the girl from near Nali nullah in the village forests. The accused was arrested on the spot.
