Plantation drive at Govt. Middle School Bhure Chak held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 11: Taking one more step forward to save the environment, ECO RIDERS organization launched Plantation drive program at Govt. Middle School, Bhure chak, Jammu in presence of Jyoti Gupta, faculty members and students of the school. On the occasion members of ECO RIDERS planted and distributed hybrid saplings in the school campus and to faculty members which include trees like MANGO, NEEM, AMLA, LEMON and ORNAMENTAL TREES. ECO RIDERS encouraged students to plant more trees and take care of their plantations thereafter. They further added that every day we should plant trees in order to keep the environment green, clean, safe and healthy. Members of ECO RIDERS stressed that more schools and college students must be connected with sapling plantation and awareness programmes which are key factors to encourage citizens to protect environment by planting trees. "We are trying to involve the maximum number of students in our environment saving drive. It is important to plant trees to maintain the ecological balance. The trees are an effective way to prevent global warming and reduce pollution," said ECO RIDERS. ECO RIDERS said, "The trees, when they grow up, will act as the protectors of the environment. It will give us immense satisfaction and also inspire the upcoming generations to continue the practice. |
