Congress councillors repose trust in Kachoi | LAHDC Kargil to function normally | | Sajjad Hussain Early Times Report
Kargil, Sept 27: Within 24 hours after withdrawing support from Kacho Ahmed Khan led Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil, all the three councillors, Zakir Hussain from Shakar constituency , Liyaqat Ali from Poyen constituency and Skalzang Wangyal from Padum constituency once again reposed their trust in Khan's leadership and expressed their total support for him. Speaking to media at council complex, all the three councillors including an independent councillor Shiekh Hussain Raisi said that there was some misunderstanding between the district leadership and the local councillor which has been resolved amicably. Shiekh Raisi said, "There were some grievances of the councillors and that has been resolved now. All the three councillors will continue their support to Kacho Sahib." "We hope the council will get more strong in future and we will work together", he added. Zakir Hussain Councillor Shaker said, "We had some grievances and we have taken up those with our party leadership and they have settled all issues." "We had developmental and organisational issues which we have taken up with our party leadership" he added. Yesterday the councillors had withdrawn their support from Kacho Ahmed Ali Khan led council. It's pertinent to mention here that since the council was formed in 2013, it has remained in political crisis all the time. |
