Amid Kashmir unrest, BJP ministers run transfer industry 9/28/2016 12:01:36 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 27: Proverb "Fishing In The Troubled Water" is best fitted on the BJP self styled "honest" Ministers who are shamelessly taking advantage of the prevailing turbulent situation in the Kashmir Valley by indulged into wholesale transfers of their respective departments. Even as PDP ministers in the government are busy in taking steps to restore peace in the Valley, their counterparts of BJP are brazenly taking advantage of the prevailing turmoil to accomplish agendas of the influential power brokers on whose directions BJP ministers are working. Credible sources in the corridors of power revealed that during the last nearly three months, BJP ministers have executed wholesale transfers in their respective departments. These pseudo honest BJP ministers are projecting themselves as honest by not directly involved in transfers but they have deputed their touts in the markets who are openly auctioning plum postings. BJP ministers are very much aware that both central leadership and PDP leadership is more concerned about prevailing situation in the Kashmir Valley so it is the best opportunity to get the transfer industry flourished in their respective departments. There is no accountability in the present situation so wholesale transfers are going unabated in the ministers being held by BJP ministers. Sources said that according to a rough estimate over 2500 officers/officials, belong to different departments of BJP ministers have been transferred after eruption of violence from July 8, 2016. And these transfer orders were issued on the behest of agents and power brokers. Credible sources said that sympathizers of RSS and supporters of BJP are finding it difficult to get suitable postings because BJP ministers are not ready to adjust them because they (BJP ministers) have given contract of transfers and postings to power brokers. Interestingly these power brokers were earlier very close to the Congress ministers in the previous NC-Congress government.
