JKTF strike enters second day 9/27/2016 11:39:46 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 27: JKTF chain hunger strike enters 2nd day today which is up in arms against the directorial and callous attitude adopted by the Director School Education Jammu. The chain hunger strike of the teaching fraternity under the banner of JKTF entered the second day under the leadership of Kuldeep Singh Provincial Vice-President of the forum leading the team which included Shashi Paul (Distt. Secretary Kathua), Devinder Singh (Zonal President Marh) and Goldy Singh Walia (Zonal Secretary Marh). Hundreds of teachers gathered at the site of the hunger strikes at the office of the Director School Education, Jammu and raised slogans against the policies adopted in the recent transfers made by the Education authorities in which the large scale corrupt practices were adopted by adjusting some blue eyed, special class person within the vicinity of city offering them the choice postings. On the other hand the employees including females, widows, single parents, handicapped medical cases (with lifelong ailments) were deliberately victimized by transferring them in far flung areas in some cases beyond the 100km distance from their residence. The forum warned the Education authorities that it will intensify the struggle if above demands are not fulfilled and mitigated the suffering of Teaching Community. An appeal was made to Education Minister to personally intervene in the matter to redress the demands and provide justice to the victimized teaching community prominent who sat on the dais included Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Varinder Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Jugal Kishore, Joginder Pathania, Paramjit, Yash Pal Singh, Vijay Kumar, Yash Paul Sharma and Rajinder Singh.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
