VHP warns vested elements trying to disturb peace in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 27: VHP has taken Governments to task for booking some tough of minority Hindu Community of Rajouri under Public Safety Act and warned it of serious consequences for the same. Talking to reporters VHP State secretary Shakti Dutt Sharma said that this way Government was trying to protect those who indulged in violence in Rajouri and looted business establishments of minorities He demanded that real culprits be booked and arrested under PSA. The VHP leader said under a conspiracy some vested elements are trying to create disturbances in Jammu region too and the grenade attack on Buda Amarnath pilgrims was an indication on this regard. He warned that BHP and other nationalist nationalist organisations will not allow them to succeed in their game plan. The imposition of curfew in Kishtwar is also an indication to it. He also warned to the subversives and anti National elements not to try to vitiate peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and urged Government to book all those forces who are hand in glove with separatists. He also demanded compensation for Rajouri victims and withdrawal of PSA against the members of minority community. Mr Sharma said a team of VHP leaders has visited Rajouri township to assess the situation there and the people especially minorities living there told them there woes. Other VHP leaders were also present in the meeting. |
