Jammu, Oct 4: Two members of the Village Defence Committee (VDC) fired in the air after some unidentified persons pelted stones at their houses in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
VDC members Romesh and Jagdish of Bhalar in Thiloo area fired a few bullets in the air last night, a police official said.
When asked about the cause of firing shots, they told police that someone threw stones at their houses forcing them fire in the air, he said, adding a probe has been ordered. |
