| Thousands pay obeisance at Jasrota Mata temple | | |  Early Time Report
Hiranagar, Oct 4: Thousands of devotees across Kathua district and surrounding states today thronged historical temple of Jasrota Mata and paid their obeisance during ongoing Navratra amid tight security arrangements.
A community feast was also organized on the occasion. Jagdish Singh Jasrotia, the President of the trust appealed all the people to visit the temple for taking blessings of Goddess. He expressed the gratitude to SSP Kathua and District administration for providing facility in the temple. He said that may this Navratra bring peace and fraternity in entire state. He said, "All must respect others' religions and live together with peace and fraternity," and added that people in Kashmir must realise their social responsibility and leave unrest which would not be possible without their co-operation.
Kulbhushan Khajuria, a devotee, expressed satisfactions to the security and other arrangements and appealed all to throng in the temple for Goddess's blessing. He said," People have zeal for the temple who reached here even tensed situation along International border." |
