Doda, Oct 4: The deputy commissioner, Doda, has asked additional DC, who is also the district vigilance officer, to probe into the alleged irregularities committed by two officials in the office of chief education officer of the district. The probe was initiated by the DC on the basis of a complaint lodged by a rural youth association against the two employees, both masters, posted in CEO's office, according to official sources. Mohd Hanief Malik, additional DC, Doda, has been appointed as inquiry officer by the DC vide his order No DDC/6076-79 of August 12, 2016. The ADC has asked the CEO to furnish details regarding the appointment of district resource persons and other relevant information pertaining to all the activities undertaken by the accused. Details regarding the supply orders, puchases, exam fee of middle standard examination and guidelines for puchases and procurements in MSEC section were also sought by him, sources said. It was alleged in the complaint that one of the accused was posted in the CEO, Doda, office since the commencement of centrally sponsored SSA scheme and faced severe allegations against him.
