| Labourer in critical condition due to alleged negligence of CTM-Tech (W) | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 4: Alleging negligence of Chenab Textile Mills (CTM) Technical Wing, the family members of an injured labouers who was injured critically today demanded probe in this industrial accident.
According to reports, one Ramesh Charn (32) s/o Baswan Charn of Orissa, a labourer working in Electrical Circle-I, got seriously injuries due alleged to negligence of technical staff (Electrical) Chinab Textile Mills Kathua." Eye-witnessed said that the victim was on a power lift installed in the Circle but the same was being commanded by one technician and with lack of communication/alertness the lift started all of sudden resulting Ramesh to fall down from a height. "The injured was immediately shifted to District Hospital (DH) Kathua from here the doctors treating the injured referred injured to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu owing to critical injuries. Meanwhile Police have registered a case in this regard. Family members of injured alleged that nobody from staff was ready to speak a word over the incident as it appeared that they would have special instruction from administration to keep silent over the issue especially before talking to media. Alleging a foul play they have demanded a probe in this regard.
Here it needs to mention that it is not very first kind of industrial accident at SICOP Kathua ironically concerned Labor Commission Department remains in deep slumber.
The police have registered a case under relevant sections and have started investigations. |
