| Clerical associations support Pen Down strike on Nov 16, 17 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 13: Several Clerical Associations of Jammu and Kashmir extended their support to observe Pen Down strike on November 16, 17 on the call given by Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association in support of their long pending demands.
In an emergency meeting of the representatives of All J&K Mechanical Engineering Department Clerical Employees Association which was held under the leadership of Vikas Chander President of the Association including Sunil Gupta, Ranjana Devi and others unanimously decided to support the Pen Down Strike on 16th & 17"' November 2016 and to assemble in front of Press Club, Jammu on 17.
Similarly, the representatives of All J&K Geology and Mining Employees Welfare Association in meeting which was held under the leadership of Bharal Bushan President of the Association including Arjun Dass, Ram Dass, Sunil Nehru, Archana Gupta, Mohinder Saini, Mam inder Kour and others extended their support to scheduled Pen Down strike.
The clerical associations demanding implementation of the orders of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015 and Contempt No. 25/20l6 in letter and spirit regarding removal of Pay Anomalies of the Clerical cadre at an earliest. The other demands include removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre by giving Grade of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant and 4500-7000 to Senior Assistant and 5500-9000 to Head Assistant and stenographers, DPC in all the departments after every 06 months, Implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, Increase of Medical Allowance, Dislocation allowance etc. |
