| DIET Poonch organizes quiz competition | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 13: DIET Poonch organised district level Mathematics quiz competition for secondary classes in the premises of Raza-ul-uloom High School Poonch which was presided over by Nagesh Arya HOD CMDE wing.
Different teams from the district participated in the competition and the main aim of organizing the competition was to inculcate the spirit of competition among the students as well as to judge their readiness, quickness of mind and also understand depth towards the subject. Kasturi Lal HOD Mathematics department acted as anchor whereas the duties of scorer and time keeper were performed by Sameer Bakshi and Ashok Kumar respectively.
Speaking on the occassion Mohammad Sufyan principal of the host school appreciated Principal DIET and its faculty for organisation of these activities those provides to the students in highlighting their hidden talent.
The first position was bagged by Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Poonch,Second position gone in favour of the host school and third position was clinched by DAV public school Jawahar Nagar Poonch. Prizes were given to the winning teams.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Ronesh Sharma HOD DIET. |
