Store keeper among four arrested in flour scandal | | | Early Times Report Udhampur, Nov 13: A police raid on a private Chakki Mill (Mahajan Atta Chakki) was conducted during the specified information and 130 bags of public ration being sold in black-market were seized on the Nov 6. According to sources, police team acting on a specific information conducted a raid and seized 130 bags of flour of CAPD at Londana near ,Battal Ballian area Udhampur. The Chakhi owner collects the ration from various private dealers and after unpacking the 50 kg at his own place again packs it into the small packings of 5,10 20 kgs for sale in to the back market, sources said During the raid police arrested one person name Anil Kumar (owner of Mahajan atta chackii) s/o Uttam Chand r/o Shakti Nager Udhampur and after the investigation till date, police arrested four more person including storekeeper of Latti CAPD store and investigation are continuing. While talking to SHO police station Udhampur he said that police is continuing investigation the flour scandal case and hope more persons including official and others involved in the same scandal can be arrested. When we contacted SSP Udhampur Shailendra Kumar Mishra (IPS) said "We are expecting more recovery and arrest, looks like a good organised crime". |
