Congress workers block NH, hold protest against Modi on denomination
Appeals Guv to sack two 'corrupt' BJP ministers, threatens agitation

Vijaypur, Nov 24: Congress workers and party leaders on Thursday blocked Jammu-Pathankot highway at Vijaypur in protest against Modi Government for its failure to deal with crises erupted after denomination change and corruption of BJP Ministers in J&K.
Led by former Minister and JKPCC general secretary, Manjit Singh, a large number of Congress workers assembled here in the town and held a protest denomination against the Modi Government and BJP Ministers in State coalition.
"With change in denomination, poor and farmers have become victim of the Government's false policy. Only the poor people have been affected badly with the Modi Government's decision, but no rich or black money holder has come in queue for currency change," he alleged.
He said that Modi Government abruptly took decision and implemented across the country without proper planning on ground leading to chaos among the poor masses.
"Modi misled the nation with false and hollow slogans. Prime Minister only wants to be in limelight of media with his decisions which are usually taken in AC rooms neglecting factual ground situation," he said.
He said that Modi claimed that "The fake currency or black money holders have found escape routes to dodge Government's decision and have adjusted their money. Only affected were the poors not the militants or fake currency holders or black money holders," he said.
He appealed Central Government to re-consider their decision and make all needed corrections on ground to give respite to the affected poor people of the country.
Meanwhile, Manjit Singh attacked ruling BJP in Jammu and Kashmir and appealed Governor NN Vohra to sack two 'corrupt' BJP ministers from the coalition Government.
"BJP Minister's vehicles were intercepted with cash in crores but it was not seized, as per the reports published in media. Another minister stuck deal worth Rs 13 with own party MLC," he said.
He said that coalition Government should set its house in order and sack these two corrupt BJP Ministers.
He warned the coalition that if their demand would not be accepted, they will come on the road and launch agitation against the corrupt practice of the Government. Jagdish Raj,Kirpal Singh, Updesh Kumar,Sham Lal,Manmohan Singh Monni,Manjit Singh Jyoti,Brij Mohan Dutta, surinder Sharma. Youth Leader Paramjit Singh Pamma, Chander Sheikhar.
