Poonch, Nov 24: Locals of Poonch district especially the villagers have expressed resentment over the sheep husbandry department Poonch. According to the sources the Bakarwals and many locals having sheep are suffering a lot due to the negligence of the authorities of the said department.
Locals of Loran, Khaneter, Shahpur, Islamabad, Sawjian, Jhulas, Khari Marmara and Dhara, Fatehpur Kulani and many local area of Poonch district resented over the carelessness of the officers of the said department. They allegedly said the department is not providing tents, feed and medicine for the sheep. They said due to the shortage of facilities they visit to the private medical stores where quality medicines are not available. They alleged that uncounted sheep in different areas of said villages have been lost.
They appealed to state authorities of said department and deputy commissioner Poonch Mohammed Harun Malik to intervene the matter, investigate deeply and take strong action against the officers. Connecting with chief of sheep Husbandry V K Bhalla telephonically, he refused to give his comments. |
