Jammu, Nov 25: Contradicting the claims of the police of reducing the crime at various fronts, the criminals/bike lifters marking their presence lifted third bike within five days from Prem Nagar- bringing embarrassment to the police department. As per reports, a black motorcycle, Bajaj Pulsar 220 bearing registration number JK02-BC-3287 was stolen from outside the house of the owner, in Prem Nagar, Jogi Gate, Jammu. Police sources said that the bike belonged to one Irfan Mir, son of Yaseen Mir who parked near his house in the locality on the intervening night of Nov 22/23 but found it missing on the morning. The sources said that the police after consulting few clues managed to draw a conclusion that two scooter borne men were captured in the CCTV cameras while lifting the motorcycle. A case has been registered under FIR no. 101/2016 u/s 379, RPC and searches are on to trace the accused.
