Demonetization; Pawar leads Mahila Congress protest | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Nov 25: Continuing its protest against Demobilization move of Modi led regime, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress women wing today protested alleging that the move has caused hardship to the general public without adequate arrangements. Protestors also sought action against BJP ministers allegedly involved in corrupt practices as surfaced in media. A large number of Pradesh Mahila Congress workers led by Indu Pawar held demonstration on demonetisation and its effect on all sections of society. The women wing also protested against Corrupt Minister who are involved in corrupt practices. Speaking on the occasion Ms Pawar said, "Everyone is in the line outside ATMs and in the banks after leaving all daily chores. "While every person in society is feeling the burnt, the Prime Minister Modi Ji is busy in reading on line surveys only, she quipped, adding, ' the situation in rural areas amongst farmers is very bad and Cash shortages in ATMs, Banks, Post Offices and Rural Co-operative Banks. "BJP leadership and State Govt led by Mehbooba Mufti must expose the names of the ministers and sought action against them as per law of land,'' Ms Pawar said. She further demanded that both the ministers should be sacked which are involved in Rs 13 Crores real estate scandal and seized Rs 5 Crores from a Security Escort Vehicle of BJP Minister by police recently in Jammu. Among others who spoke in the protest were Vandana Makhnotra, Reeta, Santosh Sharma, Geeta Dogra, Sunita Rajput Seeta Bhupinder Kour and others. |
