Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 25: A large number of displaced persons under the banner of Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and Non camp Refugees Of 1965and 1971 jointly paid homage to the martyrs of 1947 and other indo-Pak Conflicts at Mahesh Pura Chowk PoJK displaced including men, women and children assembled alongwioth non camp refugees at Neta Ji Subhash Park at Mahesh Pura and observed two minutes silence to pay tribute to those martyrs who lost their lives during all aggression of Pakistan Army and Qawalis raids. Led by Captain Yudh Vir Singh Chib the displaced persons in mass went on the site of Mir Pur Martyrs Chowk and paid there floral tribute to Martyrs. Carrying placards, banners the gathering moved in shape of rally towards Vishkarma Temple Rajpura where President of PoJK DP Front addressed the gathering. In his address Capt Chib briefed about the miseries of displaced persons and highlighting problems he urged both centre and state government to reconsider package for the displaced people as per the recommendation of the joint parliamentary committee. He also asked the members to be united to fight for their rights and justice. Among others who spoke on the occasion were Jai Pal Sharma General Secretary, R S Chib Treasurer, Smt Skandya Devi President Women Wing, Kulbir Singh Chib, Retd Inspector Kuldeep Singh, S Hari Singh, Pawan Singh Slathia, Rasal Singh, Ch Sukhjinder Singh, Capt Sudesh Singh Chib, Kashmir Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Babioo, Smt Bimla Devi, Ravi Angral, Master Kehar Singh, DySP (Retd) Krishan Singh, and others. |
