SWIS organizes 'Out of School' programme | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Nov 25: Socio Welfare International Society (SWIS) in collaboration with State Aids Prevention and Control society today organized 'Out of School' programme for youths. According to press release, during programme the youth were aware about the symptoms and prevention of the HIV/AIDS disease. Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, N S Bali was the Chief Guest while Tanvir Waniwas guest of honour on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Bali appreciated the efforts of the organization and State Aids Control Society who organize such programmes for the youths and people of various villages in the interiors to distribute and spread knowledge about an epidemic called as AIDS'. Bali further said that AIDS is "fatal disease, so these programmes become priceless, to make people aware about the causes of disease and if the causes are known, people would be careful in their actions. SWIS Chairman, Pradeep Pandita gave a brief description of the organization and said that SWIS has been doing such programs all over the Jammu Province and this time the progra-mmes were conducted in various villages of Doda, Kishtwar and Bhaderwah. |
