UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: 16 Students of scout & Guide unit of National model academy Kail paldhai school brought laurels to the school with their remarkab le performance in National camp of Hindustan scout & Guide held at distt Sirsa , Haryana state held on 19 November to 24 Nov 2016.
In the five days camp students of seven states including j&k & all the districts of Haryana participated. Students of National model academy represented j&k state outshined in various events where in they clinched 7 trophies in different events. The team secured 2nd position in Rangoli competition , Layout competition & kabbadi competition where they gave a tough fight to final winner Rajasthan. In the other events they got third prize in folk group dance , folk group song , food plaza, & mehandi competition .
In overall trophies competition j&k remain on 2nd position after Gujrat.
Scouts & Guides are also trained to make bridge , shack, tents ,tower & gate.They also trained in cross commando crossing . Ladder bridge , rope bridge, crawling & other physical activities.
Students in their tour also visited jaliawala bagh, Bagga border where they saw the retreat ceremony & golden temple in Amritsar .They also got a chance to meet film star Saif ali khan who was there for shooting of his film.
Ashish Sambyal & Vishali gupta selected as best scout & Guide from the j& k team. Principal Raj Rani Rajput boosted the morale of the candidates & Dr Neeraj kesar Administrator officer, Nirmal Kesar Managing director, Jagdish raj sharma chairman of the school also congratulated them & wished them good luck for their future endeavour. |
