Reasi, Nov 27: Aryan Chandel of Kendriya Vidyalaya Jyotipuram, secured first position in Level 1 abacus test conducted by UCMAS ABACUS Center Reasi. UCMAS is a child development program based on Visual Arithmetic and Abacus that boosts brainpower in children aged 4-13 years. The program is designed to strengthen math skills, the UCMAS approach promotes whole brain development and establishes foundational building blocks like memory, concentration, creativity and problem solving - core skills that inspire greater confidence and success in all subject areas and in life. On completion of the Level 1, the successful children were also awarded certificates by the Sodhi UCMAS abacus center. Anurag Narayan of KV Jyotipuram and Saksham Abrol of Trikuta Shiksha Niketan secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Kids from many other schools also participated in the 1st level including Sneha, Akshat, Muskan, Shivam, Dakesh, Laskh, Shorya and Priya. Chief Guest Madhur Bharti congratulated the budding champions and their parents. Highlighting the significance of such programs for children he informed that such programs equip the kids with the skills they need to improve overall academic achievement and to confidently meet life's challenges. Later course instructor Sugandha Sharma read the vote of thanks along with Amandeep Singh. |
