JYF stages protest against Director DDE 11/27/2016 11:11:21 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 27: Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) today protested against the Director of Directorate of Distance Education (DDE). Prof Dhian Singh Bhau who is Director of DDE has failed to differentiate between the three subjects i.e. Persian, Arabic and Urdu as he assigned the task of teaching Arabic and Persian a teacher of Urdu. Addressing the gathering here today, Deepak Kumar said that fortnight long Personal Contact Program (PCP) classes of BA Part-III being held in DDE since Oct 17, 2016. "The task of teaching Persian and Arabic subjects for B.A Part-III have been assigned to a single teacher, who himself is not associated with any of the subjects and a contractual teacher in Urdu Department of JU, which is unfair to the distance learners who are just be fooled by the DDE authorities," he said. He also said that the authorities sitting at the helm of affairs in DDE had befooled the distance learners as Persian; Urdu and Arabic are entirely different from each other. How a teacher of Urdu can teach Arabic and Persian subjects that too at B.A level, he questioned and maintained that only an irrational and incompetent person can approve this decision. He further said that the DDE Director and the concerned Course Coordinator were incompetent as they didn't understand the fact that Arabic, Persian and Urdu were different subjects and taught differently.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
