Srinagar, Nov 27 : Security forces today conducted house-to-house search operation in a south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here. They said on a tip off about the presence of militants, security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint operation at Devar Anantnag in south Kashmir today. Security forces sealed entire exit point and directed residents to remain indoor. Later security forces conducted house to house searches in the area but no militant was found. Security forces conducted search operation two days after militants shot dead two police personnel and injured another in border Kulgam district. |
