Kishtwar, Dec 1: Youth of district has criticized the management of Hudro electric projects, for inordinate delay in starting of various projects, proposed to be developed in area.
According to press release, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari. In the meeting various issues related to the starting of Pakal Dul, Kero, Kawar, Karthi and Burser Hydroelectric projects were discussed.
The participants in their speeches strongly criticised the central and state governments for making unnecessary delay in starting of these hydroelectric projects as a result of which there is unrest among the unemployed youths of District Kishtwar and resentment is prevailing among them.
Bhandari has urged upon the central government to immediately start these hydroelectric projects so that the unemployed youths could get employment opportunity and earn their livelihood. |
