Jammu, Dec 1: Sri Guru Gobind Singh was savior of humanity and the heritage of India, said S.Ramneek Singh Bijral, Member D.G.P.C Jammu while addressing a joint press conference of D.G.P.C members Jammu and various other Sikh organizations of J&K including A.I.S.S.F, Bhai Kanhiya Nishkam Seva Society J&K, Sikh welfare Society, Sikh Naujawan Sabha.
He listed out the forthcoming programme being held in connection 350th Parkash Utsav all over the world. He said that a Mahaan Gurmat Samagam is being held on 3rd of December, 2016 in the premises of M.B.S College of Engineering and Technology, Jeevan Nagar, Babliana, Jammu under the patronage of Mahant Manjeet Singh with Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee.
He appealed to one and all belonging to every faith to attend the program in which a special light and sound show is also being organized.
S.Fateh Singh, Member D.G.P.C called upon the Sikh Sangat to participate in this Gurumat Samagam in great number which will begin on Saturday 3rd of December, 2016 at 6 p.m with Shabad Kirtan and will culminate at 11 p.m with light and sound programe which will depict the life and the sacrifices of Sikhs during the era of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
S. Darbinder Singh, Member D.G.P.C said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji laid down a great example of sacrifice to protect the humanity and created the concept of Real India which stands today with pride in the eyes of the world and a secular, social, democratic state.
S.Raja Singh, Member D.G.P.C while addressing the press conference said that the sacrifies of the whole family of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji are a source of inspiration for those who always stand up against tyranny of the oppressor against the oppressed.
S.Mohinder Singh, Chief Organizer Bhai Kanhiya Nishkam Society J&K, said that series of programmes are being held everywhere in world and this Gurumat Samagam is one such programme of the long series in which S.Manjeet Singh G.K, president D.S.G.M.C is also participating and will announce the further programs of the series in the Samagam.
S.Gajan Singh, General Secretary Sikh Welfare Society J&K, also said that the Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch always takes a lead in holdings religious functions and this Gurumat Samagam is another effort in this direction. All the members said that guru ka langar will also be served in the samagam.
