Jammu, Dec 1: The 16th J&K State Karate-Do Championship, organized by Amateur Karate-Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir here at Green Flower School, Bari Brahmana.
In this championship near about 195 students were participated from different district and clubs. The championship was inaugurated by the Arjun Sharma (Sr. Vice President, Hindu Shiv Sena J&K) while addressing the players he highlighted the importance of sports in students in the closing ceremony Gambhir Singh Charak (Incharge, Youth Wing Dogra Sadar Sabha) was the Chief Guest while Poonam Bakshi (Principal, Green Flower Public School) and Dr. Rajesh Sharma were the Guest of Honour distributed the medals to the winners and appreciated the participants. Gambhir Singh Charak expressed his views as he was very happy to see that the youngster of J&K are also interested in playing games specially in martial arts because they are the future of this country martial arts is the games which the body of children may be develop his minds.
