Two day national seminar on Vedas inaugurated | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 3: A two-day National Seminar on the Vedas was inaugurated at Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shri Ranbir Campus, Jammu. Rajguru Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Shri Swami Vishwatmananda Saraswati ji Maharaj of Shivakashi, Sundarbani was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Function was presided over by Principal of the Campus, Prof. Ramanuja Devanathan. In his address, Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati said that the atheist is always filled with remorse and regret when he reaches the final stage of his life. But even then, if he gets self-realization, he attains the Ultimate Liberation (Moksha). It is through the understanding of the Vedas that the self-realization is possible. Today, everybody is troubled with all kinds of tension. But nobody realizes the true cause of his tension. Actually, they have been ensnared by the Vishayas. The Youth of today can stay awake all night in the company of his internet-enabled phone, but he has no time observing a vigil for his spiritual upliftment. He is wasting his energies in useless pursuits. He also exhorted the participants and the organizers to share their knowledge by giving a wide publicity to the proceeding of the Seminar so that the public at large is benefitted by their knowledge. One should not keep one's knowledge to oneself because that makes him a Bramharakshasa. The Programme was ably and interestingly conducted by Prof. Manoj Kumar Mishra, Head of the Department of Veda. |
